Harvest Banquet
Weekly Community Outreach Dinner
Join us for our weekly community outreach dinner to the poor and homeless. We meet every Wednesday night, at 7:30 p.m., in the Community Center at the Vineyard Christian Fellowship. We are located at 1550 Prince William Parkway, Woodbridge, Va 22191, next to the Fred Lynn Middle School. |

Annual Thanksgiving Eve Dinner
We invite you to join us as we reach out to share Thanksgiving with the poor and the homeless each year. Last year we served over 300 people at this event. Every year we strive to create an atmosphere that is both lovely and loving. Despite the large crowds, we always have plenty for seconds and enough for people to take home to enjoy on Thanksgiving Day. It's as though God multiplies the hams and the turkeys and all the scrumptious side dishes and desserts that caring people bring to share. |

Annual Christmas Party for Children in Need
StreetLight celebrates Christmas by giving to children in need. In an effort to share the Christmas spirit, StreetLight has partnered with “Toys for Tots” as a distributing agency to provide Christmas presents for children in need. We do not just pass out presents, though. We throw a party! Our party includes a full holiday buffet dinner, with lots of favorite dishes for kids, and a Christmas presentation for the children. At the end of the evening, we call out every child's name individually to receive their gifts. They each receive two toys provided by “Toys for Tots” and an additional gift of new clothing provided by StreetLight. This event always develops into a beautiful and heartwarming evening.
Participating children need to be pre-registered and present at the party to receive their gifts. Many volunteers are needed to help at this event. “Home for the Holidays” Annual Fundraiser Dinner

Plans are underway for our Annual Fundraiser Dinner and Silent Auction which is scheduled for Friday, October 24, 6:30 p.m. at the Springfield Hilton, Springfield, Virginia.
Our primary objective for this year's fundraiser dinner is to raise money to expand our ministry and to obtain additional transitional and permanent supportive housing units for single adult men and women. Our goal is to obtain another house in the late fall, allowing qualified applicants to move in just in time for the holidays. We invite you to partner with us in our campaign this year to raise money to increase services and to provide a “home for the holidays” for our homeless neighbors. |
